Nike reinvigorated Air in 1995. As an ode to Tinker Hatfield and his innovative approach to showcasing the Air Max unit, Sergio Lozano took it to the next level. The Nike Air Max 95 marked the first time that the encapsulated Air Max unit on the forefoot would be visible for all to marvel at.
Inspired by the human body, the Air Max 95, the silhouette took storytelling and technology to a new level.
The design language of the Air Max 95 stood out against the competition and even within the Nike Air Max lineage. Its layered panels paired with a breathable mesh upper took performance and made it aggressive to match the conditions.
The Swoosh continues to honor its prestigious Air Max legacy as the Nike Air Max 95 celebrates 25 years. To recognize the momentous occasion, the iconic Nike Air Max 95 "Neon" returns.
